As my 84 year old dad was working in his front yard transplanting an ornamental grass, he felt a sharp pain hit the first knuckle of his ring finger. A copperhead! I had used TKM with him before so he called to see what he could do. I explained the Extraction technique. They held it all the way to the hospital and as often as possible once he was admitted to ICU for observation. FYI - The further the venom travels the more damage it causes. The doctors were ready for major surgery if it went past his elbow. The swelling and other affects of the venom never went past his wrist.
